The Best DnD Magic Item Cards (Printable + Pre-Made) for 2026

The short answer
For instant download + 100 cards: Lorekeeper Magic Item Cards ($8). For physical pre-made deck: WotC Magic Item Cards: A-T set ($20 retail).
Why handing physical cards changes the table
The first time I handed a printed Bag of Holding card to a player instead of just describing it, the moment shifted. The player held it. Read it. Looked at it on their character sheet stack. They cared in a way they hadn't before.
It's the same reason fancy meals come on a plate instead of a bowl: the medium IS the message. Hand them a real card and the magic item becomes real to them.
Our top picks
1. Lorekeeper Magic Item Cards PDF โ $8
100 cards across 25 pages (4-up format). Mix of SRD items (Bag of Holding, Vorpal Sword, Holy Avenger) and 20 original Keepr designs (Keeper's Quill, Lorebinder's Tome, etc.). Print double-sided on cardstock, cut, optional laminate. Includes rarity, type, mechanical effect, lore, and a "where found" line for players to fill.
2. WotC Magic Item Cards Decks (3-deck set, $60 retail)
Professional finish, gorgeous art. The downside: locked into WotC's specific items + art style. Recommended if you want premium physical and have the budget.
3. Lorekeeper Potion Labels PDF โ $6
Companion to magic item cards: 12 apothecary-style labels you stick on actual glass vials. Pair them with healing potion cards from the deck above for full immersion.
The most-loved mechanic at our table
When a magic item card is given out, the player can either KEEP it (item stays on their character) or RETURN it (item is lost, sold, or used up). The physical act of handing back a card is way more emotionally weighty than just erasing something from a sheet.
